Do Ho Suh is a Korean installation artist known for creating translucent fabric replicas of the homes he has lived in. By stitching architecture into something weightless and foldable, he suggests that identity can be packed and reassembled elsewhere.

In response, I designed a book in the form of a piece of luggage. The book becomes a vessel, allowing the reader to “carry” his homes just as Suh metaphorically does. His work is juxtaposed with the essay “Home is not a Place” by Mimi Mwiya.
