08 PROXIMITY

Designed for a Barcelona music studio, Blaze Type’s Proximity seeks to showcase individual elements that, when connected, form complex and meaningful structures, i.e. communities that are greater than the sum of their parts.

For this project, I created an Instagram reel as an animated type specimen. Showcasing the fonts in motion activates the imagination in a way that sets the type foundry apart and encourages purchase and use. Inspired by the Spanish musical origins of the typeface, I featured the song Sonho Real by Tapioca,
